Job Announcement: Mechanical Engineer (Design)

Al-Taawon Hypermarket chain announces a job opportunity for the position of "Mechanical Engineer - Design" to join its distinguished engineering team, according to the following duties and qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical building systems (Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting).

• Prepare 2D shop drawings and engineering blueprints with high accuracy and professionalism.

• Review, evaluate, and develop current designs to ensure increased efficiency and business continuity.

• Accurately perform HVAC load calculations.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for mechanical works.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Documented practical experience of at least two years in mechanical design for buildings and commercial projects.

• Full proficiency in essential engineering software (specifically AutoCAD).

• Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to create effective engineering solutions.

• Effective communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.

Job Details:

• Location: Baghdad - Al-Shaab.

• Working Hours: 8 hours daily, 6 days a week.
