VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Hiring – QC Engineer / QC Inspector

An engineering and construction company providing professional services in civil works, construction, and project management, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QC Engineer / QC Inspector to join our project team.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Control procedures in accordance with project specifications, drawings, ITPs, and applicable standards.

2. Conduct inspections of ongoing construction activities to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.

3. Prepare, review, and follow up Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and related quality documentation.

4. Coordinate with Site Engineers, subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, and Client/Consultant representatives to arrange and complete required inspections.

5. Verify the quality of incoming materials against approved Material Submittals, specifications, certificates, and applicable standards.

6. Monitor testing activities, including concrete, welding, soil, materials, and other project-specific tests, and ensure proper documentation of test results.

7. Identify non-conforming works and materials, raise and follow up NCRs, and coordinate effective corrective and preventive actions.

8. Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, test results, checklists, material certificates, calibration records, and quality dossiers.

9. Conduct regular quality inspections and participate in internal/client quality audits to identify deficiencies and ensure continuous improvement.

10. Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely quality closeout, punch-list clearance, as-built documentation, and final handover requirements.

🔹 Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.

• Relevant experience in QC/QA/QC construction activities.

• Good knowledge of ITPs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, method statements, and material submittals.

• Familiarity with applicable international codes, project specifications, and quality standards.

• Strong documentation, communication, inspection, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and project requirements.
