We Are Hiring | HR Manager

A well-established and reputable industrial company in Basra, Iraq .

Position: Human Resources Department Manager

Location: Basra, Iraq

Industry: Industrial / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all Human Resources operations, policies, and procedures.

* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.

* Manage workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

* Ensure compliance with applicable Iraqi labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

* Develop effective compensation, benefits, and employee engagement practices.

* Establish and maintain a strong performance-driven organizational culture.

* Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior management.

* Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.

* Maintain accurate HR records, reporting systems, and workforce analytics.

* Contribute to organizational development, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification is an advantage.

* 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy, or other large-scale corporate environment.

* Proven experience in a managerial or senior HR leadership position.

* Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.

* Solid understanding of Iraqi labor laws and employment regulations.

* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work effectively with senior management and a diverse workforce.

* Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

* High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
