Projects & Tenders Engineer — Baghdad (Karrada)

Al-Intishar Al-Thahabi | Engineering & Contracting | Full-time

Al-Intishar Al-Thahabi is looking for a Projects & Tenders Engineer to join our Projects Office in Baghdad.

We are an Iraqi engineering and contracting company working across solar PV, civil rehabilitation, mechanical works, and industrial supply, serving public-sector and oil-sector clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

— Prepare and organize tender and bid submissions

— Issue RFQs to manufacturers and suppliers and compare offers against technical specifications

— Maintain the contract register and track guarantees, retentions, key deadlines, and contractual requirements

— Draft formal correspondence with client organizations and project stakeholders

— Maintain complete and up-to-date project and tender documentation

— Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to keep assigned tasks moving

WHAT YOU NEED

— A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Industrial, or another relevant engineering discipline

— 0–3 years of professional experience

— Good working proficiency in English

— Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word

— Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

— Strong sense of ownership and follow-through

Most of all, we are looking for someone who finishes what they start without being chased.

This role is open to Iraqi nationals based in Baghdad.
