Technical Services Supervisor

Sulaymaniah | Faruk Medical City is seeking a

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate departmental activities, collect reports from technical sections, then prepare and submit the weekly performance reports.

- Supervise subcontractors and monitor compliance with contractual obligations, service quality standards, and agreed performance requirements.

- Lead and motivate the Technical Services team, evaluate staff performance, prepare work schedules and leave plans, allocate duties, identify training needs, and support staff development.

- Ensure that daily inspections, operational checks, and maintenance activities for the hospital's electrical, mechanical, and building systems are completed accurately on time.

- Monitor departmental quality indicators, analyze performance against objectives, and coordinate improvement initiatives with the Medical Standardization and Quality Department.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations, supporting hospital safety, service quality, operational efficiency, and accreditation objectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

- 5+ years of technical experience in a healthcare facility.

- Able to communicate in English, Kurdish and Arabic languages.

- Strong knowledge of hospital technical operations, facility management, and healthcare engineering systems.

- Familiarity with JCI accreditation standards and requirements, preferably with previous experience supporting accreditation activities.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, LV/MV systems, power and demand calculations, distribution boards, UPS, ATS, electrical repairs, and preventive maintenance.

- Experience with control panels, MCC boards, VFDs, control logic, SCADA, - BMS, synchronizing boards, and generator controllers.

- Ability to read, interpret, and implement electrical & Mechanical drawings.

- Knowledge of water treatment systems, including RO and water softeners, medical gas systems, and firefighting systems.

- Experience with HVAC systems, including chillers, VRV, AHUs, fan coil units, and associated pumping systems.

- Knowledge of heating systems, including boilers, burners, combi boilers, and heat exchangers.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
