Position: Lifting Supervisor
IRON GATE COMPANY (IGC) invites qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisors to register with our Manpower Database for evaluation and consideration for potential employment opportunities with our clients in the Oil & Gas sector.
📍 Location: Al-Tuwaisa, Olympic Committee St., Basra, Iraq
🏭 Industry: Oil & Gas
💼 Position: Lifting Supervisor
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in lifting operations and supervision within the Oil & Gas industry.
Valid Lifting Supervisor Certification from a recognized body.
Previous experience in Rumaila Oilfield (ROO) or similar oilfield environments is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lifting Plans, Risk Assessments, JSA, and HSE procedures.
Good understanding of crane positioning, ground conditions, load charts, rigging equipment, and safe lifting practices.
Familiarity with PTW and CoW systems.
Ability to supervise crane operators, riggers, and banksmen.
Ability to verify lifting equipment certifications, inspection records, and operational readiness.
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Valid Safety Passport and relevant oilfield safety certificates are preferred.
