Job Vacancy – Junior Architect

Department: Projects & Maintenance Level: Entry Level / Junior

Al-Taawon Company is looking for a Junior Architect to join our Projects & Maintenance Department in Baghdad.

This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for a fresh graduate or candidate with limited professional experience who is interested in developing their career in architectural design, projects, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and plans.

Support the Projects & Maintenance team in ongoing construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

Assist with site visits, measurements, and documentation.

Prepare and update drawings based on project requirements.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and relevant internal departments when required.

Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and material specifications.

Ensure architectural work complies with project requirements and applicable standards.

Perform other architectural and project-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

0–1 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other architectural software is an advantage.

Good understanding of architectural drawings and basic construction principles.

Ability to work on-site and support multiple projects when required.
