Job Vacancy – IT Specialist

Location: Al-Harthiya Baghdad, Iraq

Department: Information Technology

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: IQD 1,250,000 – 1,500,000 per month

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to employees and maintaining the company’s internal IT infrastructure, devices, network, CCTV systems, software, and basic server systems.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Provide Help Desk and technical support to all employees and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, iPads, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.

Manage IT assets and employee equipment, including issuance, return, inventory, tracking, and documentation.

Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device preparation, access, and equipment collection.

Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPN, and Internet connectivity.

Configure and maintain MikroTik routers, firewalls, and network services.

Troubleshoot network cabling, patch panels, racks, switches, and physical IT infrastructure.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, drivers, and network printing systems.

Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and business software/applications.

Provide basic administration and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux servers.

Support basic Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, file/print services, and backups.

Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, PoE, and related network connectivity.

Perform preventive maintenance, system updates, basic security checks, and monitoring of IT infrastructure.

Coordinate with Internet Service Providers, hardware/software vendors, CCTV providers, and external IT service providers.

Maintain IT asset records, network documentation, CCTV documentation, system information, and support tickets.

Diagnose technical problems, identify root causes, and provide practical and effective solutions.

Support office moves, workstation setups, new equipment installations, and IT projects.

Escalate complex technical, server, network, security, or CCTV issues to specialized resources when required.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Previous experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar IT role.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical requests.

Good documentation and IT asset management skills.

Ability to coordinate with employees, vendors, and external service providers.
