Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Workshop – Al Zubair, Basra, Iraq

Work Schedule: 12 hours / day

Reports To: Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Coordinator

Salary Range: 1,000,000 IQD – 1,250,000 IQD per month

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage daily inventory operations at our workshop in Az Zubair. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, issuing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing daily reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound & Outbound Management: Supervise and execute the daily receipt (check-in) and dispatch (check-out) of all materials, equipment, and spare parts.

• Inventory Control & Auditing: Perform regular physical stock counts (inventory auditing) to ensure strict alignment between actual inventory and system records.

• Warehouse Organization: Keep the workshop store clean, organized, safe, and properly arranged to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency.

• Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit clear daily inventory reports, tracking material movements, stock levels, and potential shortages to management.

• System Logging: Accurately record all material transactions using the Speedo software platform.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control (workshop or industrial experience preferred).

• Software Skills: Proficiency in Speedo inventory software and basic computer skills (MS Office / Excel).

• Language Skills: Intermediate proficiency in both Arabic and English (good working knowledge of both languages for daily workshop communications and reports).

• Key Competencies: Strong organizational abilities, high attention to detail, and sound problem-solving skills.

• Work Conditions: Ability to work a 12-hour daily shift in a workshop environment in Al Zubair.
