Job Opportunity – Technical Repair Engineer

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join us as a Technical Repair Engineer.

1- Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect and technically assess pumps and rotating equipment received for repair.

* Evaluate components including shafts, impellers, bearings, mechanical seals, wear rings, couplings and casings.

* Develop detailed repair scopes, repair recommendations and technical solutions.

* Review engineering drawings, dimensions, fits, tolerances and inspection results.

* Support failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

* Provide technical guidance to workshop personnel during dismantling, machining, assembly and testing.

* Review repair and test results and ensure appropriate technical documentation and traceability.

* Provide technical support to customers and participate in technical discussions when required.

* Support repair quotations, technical evaluations and identification of additional repair requirements.

2- Equipment Experience

Experience with equipment such as:

* Centrifugal, process, multistage and split-case pumps

* Vertical turbine and API-type pumps

* Gearboxes, fans and blowers

* Other rotating mechanical equipment

3- Requirements:

* Degree, HNC/HND, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

* Strong practical experience with pumps and rotating equipment.

* Experience in rotating equipment repair, service or maintenance.

* Good knowledge of bearings, mechanical seals, shafts, couplings, alignment, vibration, fits and tolerances.

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

* Experience preparing technical repair scopes and reports.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Good communication skills and ability to work with workshop, engineering, commercial and customer teams.

4- Desirable Experience:

* OEM or independent rotating equipment repair experience.

* API pump applications and industry standards.

* Root Cause Analysis and failure investigation.

* Vibration analysis and condition monitoring.

* Hydraulic/pump performance testing.

* NDT and reverse engineering.

* Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water or Heavy Industry.
