Operations Officer – Acquiring

Key Responsibilities

Manage merchant onboarding through the merchant portal and provide ongoing support.

Coordinate the delivery and deployment of POS devices and payment gateway solutions.

Follow up on acquiring operations, ensuring timely completion of onboarding and operational requests.

Provide operational and technical support to merchants and the sales team.

Prepare operational reports for banks and the Central Bank of Iraq.

Generate and distribute reports using Tableau.

Raise and monitor Jira tickets, coordinating with relevant teams until resolution.

Support Verto users and assist with operational inquiries.

Assist in training new employees and merchants on acquiring processes.

Ensure operational data and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in electronic banking, acquiring, e-payment, or payment operations.

Good understanding of merchant acquiring and POS operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tableau and Jira is an advantage.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple operational tasks.
