Raban Al-Safina Group is looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Baghdad.

Position: Electrical Department Manager

Location: Baghdad, Iraq

Industry: Construction

Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical Department across construction projects.

• Supervise Electrical Engineers, Technicians, subcontractors, and site teams.

• Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical submittals.

• Coordinate electrical works with Civil, Mechanical, MEP, and other project teams.

• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, quality, and schedules.

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Construction.

• Proven experience in managing electrical departments or large construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, power distribution, generators, transformers, ATS, PLC, cable installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
