We Are Hiring

Accountant

Location: Baghdad / Al-Karkh – Iraq

This opportunity is open to Iraqi nationals only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare journal entries and support the monthly closing process.

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.

• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and petty cash reconciliations.

• Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting financial documents.

• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documentation.

• Assist the Senior Accountant and Chief Accountant in routine accounting activities and audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting systems.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Good command of English is preferred.
