Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant

Baghdad | New Factory Under Construction

We are building a new manufacturing facility in Baghdad and looking for a strong finance leader to set up and manage our accounting function from the ground up.

What you’ll own:

• Cash Flow Management: Forecast, monitor, and optimize cash flow for construction + operations

• Owners' Account & Equity: Manage owners' capital accounts, transactions, and reporting

• SAP S/4HANA Setup: Lead setup of Chart of Accounts, Trial Balance, Cost Centers, and Costing modules

• Costing & Reporting: Build cost accounting structure and provide management with timely, accurate insights

What we need:

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with 3+ years in a senior role

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA - setup and daily use

• Strong knowledge of cost centers, cost accounting, and manufacturing accounting

• Experience in setting up accounting systems for new entities/factories is a big plus

• Excellent English + Arabic communication skills

• Based in Baghdad or willing to relocate
