Project Manager

Sulaymaniyah | Qaiwan Group

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall project delivery, ensuring achievement of scope, schedule, cost, quality, HSE, and performance objectives.

- Develop and implement project execution plans, master schedules, budgets, resource plans, and key milestones.

- Manage project governance, reporting, decision-making, and performance monitoring.

- Coordinate Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, HR, HSE, Legal, Administration, Sales, and other functions.

- Oversee contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements.

- Monitor project costs, schedules, KPIs, risks, issues, and changes, implementing corrective and mitigation actions.

- Ensure compliance with Qaiwan Group standards, HSE requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

- Manage relationships with clients, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

- Lead project meetings, reporting, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.

- Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, closeout, defect resolution, and lessons learned.

- Lead and develop project teams to promote accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

- 10–15 years of experience in construction/project management.

- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or senior project management role.

- Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.

- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Native Kurdish, Fluent in English and Arabic.
