We're Hiring: Assistant Production Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Production Manager to join our lubricant manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will support the Production Manager in planning, supervising, and optimizing daily production operations while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Job Purpose

The Assistant Production Manager will assist in managing day-to-day manufacturing activities, coordinating production teams, monitoring production performance, maintaining product quality, and ensuring that all production processes comply with company procedures and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily production activities.

Monitor blending, filling, packaging, and production operations to ensure efficiency and product quality.

Coordinate production schedules to meet operational targets and customer demand.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.

Support troubleshooting of production issues and implement corrective actions.

Monitor raw material consumption and production yields.

Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain departments.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and analyze production KPIs.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Assist in training and supervising production staff.

Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety regulations throughout the production facility.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related engineering field.

4–5 years of experience in lubricant manufacturing, petrochemical production, oil blending plants, or similar industrial environments.

Previous experience in a production supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and production reporting systems.

Good English communication skills.

Work Environment

Industrial lubricant manufacturing plant.

Six working days per week.

Working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
